This Free Tutorial covers how to use HubDB and HubL to create multilevel dynamic pages on HubSpot CMS.

You will learn how to:

create a parent page pulling information from HubDB
dynamically create pages for child tables
format dates and multi-select elements to display correctly
combine data from parent and child tables within a HubL module.

Sync Contact Properties to New HubDB Table Row

This Free Tutorial covers how to create a workflow with a Custom Code element to dynamically sync Contact Properties to a HubDB table.

You will learn how to:

set up a custom code element within a workflow to copy contact properties to a single HubDB table.
build a form that includes the correct information.
format your data to work properly.

This workflow can be used to fill in registration information for events upon a form submission or many other uses. You can also adjust the process for use with company properties.

Append or Delete Specific Value from Multi Select Field with HubSpot API

This Free Tutorial covers how to automatically add or remove a value from a contact enumeration field when a form is filled.

You will learn how to:

set up a HubSpot form to capture the necessary information.
build a workflow with a custom code element that automatically appends or deletes a value from a multi select checkbox property

HubSpot makes it possible to Append a value to a multi select property with a Workflow, however in a property with a lot of different options, this requires a unique branch for every value to append. Unfortunately, there is no way to create a workflow for removing a specific value without custom code.

Association Labels for contacts to companies can be useful for running reports and for sending automated emails in Company Object Workflows. Currently, these association labels can be created manually or through an API. This tutorial takes the API and allows you to utilize it within a workflow.

This Paid Tutorial covers how to create a workflow with a Custom Code element to dynamically sync Company Properties to a Company-Specific HubDB table.

You will learn how to:

set up a custom code element within a workflow to move company properties to a HubDB table specific to that company.
format data to include text, dates, multi-select properties, and more.

Initially we were told that dynamically pushing data to a HubDb table for a specific company could not be automated. We decided to prove them wrong! This workflow uses a creative solution to push data from a company profile to HubDB. It can be used to create historical records for companies. Our initial development of this process took 20+ hours. Please note, these tutorials are NOT structured to teach you how to code. They show the process we followed to achieve a desired outcome for our clients and provide the code and an overview of the workflows that will achieve the result. We do not dive into each line of code or function and what it means.

With these examples, you can recreate our process within your HubSpot account and adjust it to fit your needs. For example, a process for a company object, works very similarly to a contact object. The HubDB tables and module for Events listings can be edited for a single HubDB table or repurposed to organize Services and Specific Products based on their Category.
